The Detroit Crimson Wings have acquired middle Jasper Weatherby from the San Jose Sharks in change for middle Kyle Criscuolo.
Weatherby has collected three targets and three assists in 39 video games with the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda this season.
As a rookie in 2021-22, Weatherby performed 50 video games within the NHL with the Sharks, tallying 5 targets and 6 assists. He added 5 targets and 10 assists in 25 AHL video games with the Barracuda final season.
A fourth-round choose by San Jose within the 2018 NHL Draft, Weatherby performed three seasons on the College of North Dakota.
Criscuolo has recorded 5 targets and 5 assists in 28 video games with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins this season, his seventh professional marketing campaign.
In 335 profession AHL contests with Grand Rapids, San Diego, Lehigh Valley and Rochester, Criscuolo has totaled 77 targets and 110 assists for 187 factors. He received a Calder Cup championship with the Griffins in 2017.
Criscuolo has performed 15 video games within the NHL with Detroit and Buffalo, notching two assists.
